Craig, CO 81625
A Brief History
Since 1940, this property has connected people from all over northwestern Colorado and Wyoming. Initally a truck shop, its use progressed to that of a yard for pipe goods which were conveniently delivered via the Union Pacific Railroad. In 1998, the property transitioned into an implement dealership selling tractors and parts for agriculture. In 2004, the owners opened a welding & design business performing architectural iron fabrication and powder coating.
The Building
The 15,125 s.f. building resides on a .359-acre lot. The versatile main space has concrete floors with two large overhead garage doors, giving you the ability to bring in your biggest ideas. The structure has minimal interior walls within its vast space that currently houses four private offices, cold and heated storage and two separate bathrooms. Employee lockers are in place to store personal items. Five panels of 3-phase power enable high-tech machinery and equipment to complete the most laborious tasks. Tube heaters and LED lights hang across the 13’6” high ceilings and are controlled by thermostats to efficiently heat the space. Central A/C exists above the cold storage room, but it is not hooked up. A security system and cameras will transfer with the property.
Location
Located in downtown Craig, two blocks away from main street, you have quick access to the town's amenities and businesses. Highway 40, which is the main artery for travelers and residents, passes by the building and offers high visibility. Nearby are many bus stops including the Regional Transit Facility, which provides transportation to Steamboat Springs.
